  1. Air Marshal Sadhna S Nair: On October 23, 2023, she became the first woman to hold the position of Director General Hospital Services (Armed Forces), achieving the rank of Air Marshal. She's previously held significant roles as the Principal Medical Officer of Western Air Command and Training Command.
  2. Lt Cdr Prerna Deosthalee: Commander Prerna Deosthalee scripted history by becoming the first woman officer in the Indian Navy to command an Indian Naval Warship, INS Trinkat based in Goa.
